The flavorful flue-cured tobacco that makes up more than 95% of Zimbabwe's tobacco crop is well-known. An important component of Zimbabwe's economy is the cash crop. 3 million of the 16 million people living in the nation relied on tobacco farming as their primary source of income in 2017, with tobacco accounting for 11% of the nation's GDP.
