About Us

Onhardt Tobacco (Private) Limited is wholly Zimbabwean company, and was established in November 1999. We are in the business of exporting flue cured virginia tobacco which it purchases from all the registered Zimbabwe Tobacco Auction Floors for any customer who may want Zimbabwean tobacco, after signing of a contract.

Mashonaland West Region

Overview

Mashonaland West is one of the ten Zimbabwe Provinces with it's administrative capital being Chinhoyi. The province includes Kariba, Hurungwe, Makonde, Zvimba, Norton, Chegutu, Kadoma, Mhondoro-Ngezi, Sanyati and Karoi. It has an area of 57,441 km² and a population of approximately 1.5 million (in 2012). The province is bordered by, Zambia on the North, Lake Kariba on the North West, Mashonaland Central on the East and North East, Midlands on the South and South West, Matabeleland North on the West and Mashonaland East on the South East.

Amazing Team and Great Teamwork

Through our team comprtising of field officers and agronomist, we service the Mashonaland West provinces ensuring that the hectorage grows and the yield increases. We also have a team of locals (members of the communities) known as the chairmans/chairwomans they help us spearhearding from the ground. Our Provincial team covers areas such as Karoi and Magune where there a vast numbers of tobacco farmers. Our aim remains to be committed to sustainable agriculture while changing lives of farmers and their communities.

In a region that has a rich tobacco history from yesteryears we have managed to come through for our A1 farmers and help in changing their lives. Our output from the regions has signnificantly grown over the years. The journey is nowhere near the ending as we strive to continue growing both in number of farmers and the yield.
